Another frame up, hmmmmmmm??

Frame jig just about finished-  need to make a kingpost for each style of frame we plan to do, starting with pre-unit Triumph....



Took pics of every step and will compile an entire article on how it was made, why you need one, and how to use it, stay tuned.

Finishing touches

 

For version 1.0 that is-  All that is left is the stepped aluminum nuts for the left side of the rocker boxes to replace the nasty plastic tipped ones.  That will get us to the point of completely tearing it down for a new frame, I was never a fan of the bolt on hardtail or nasty stock cast neck.  Now it will be deraked a couple degrees, shortened a few inches in the rear (never a fan of the stretch either), backbone straigthened, and front downtubes extended a few inches to accomodate the new straight backbone.

   Remade the grips with a cleaner design and a lighter finish to match the seat better.
